Tower Hill changed my life. Because in the weeks I attended every year (from ages 11-16) I was the most happy, confident and relaxed version of myself.

HUG Camp is for campers finishing 4th grade thru 11th. During the week this summer your camper gets to choose from a variety of activities:

Adventure Course, Archery, Basketball, Batik, Crafts, Flag Football, Fun with Science, Golf, Hiking, Lawn Games, Yoga, Spongeball, Camp Cooking, Ultimate Frisbee, Sand Volleyball, Waterball, Woodworking and more (see our website for descriptions).

The week flies by with time on the beautiful Lake Michigan beach where you can swim, sunbath (don’t forget that sun screen!) or play games. On Thursday we even have a Shaving Cream Extravaganza for those who choose to get covered in shaving cream! There are group wide activities in the evening such as hiking and climbing the tallest dune (on a very clear day the Chicago horizon is visible), make s’mores around the campfire, play a variety of fun games, put on cabin skits, visit God’s mailbox, and finish on Thursday evening with an ice cream social and a consecration service. Friday morning after breakfast is our last time together with Friendship Circle before everyone heads back home.

Each day we meet in small groups called Spirit Circle to interactively engage the theme for the week. Though we have a lot going on there’s always time to just hang out and relax for a bit.
